This integration will be available on A80 and A920, however it is preferred to only integrate A920 via Wi-Fi as RNDIS requires the A920 to remain on the base at all times.
Upate POS Linkly Software to the latest version and set First Data Merchant Services as bank, TCPIP as port and Internal Modem as PRIMARY to the bank.
Plug in USB Ethernet dongle to POS - allow USB Drivers to install.
Once installed , the dongle will show up in network and adaptor settings
From the POS/Win, navigate to the primary network adapter that the POS PC is using for its internet connection.
Right click on this adapter, go to Properties.
Navigate to the Sharing tab and enable sharing Check box.
Once Ethernet Appears on the terminal taskbar the LAN connection from the POS is passing through to the terminal via Ethernet.
Integrate via POS Connect :
Enter function code, 11112227
Change IP
Use USB Dongle IP - 192.168.137.1
Leave default port set
exit from function
Ensure log on works,
Ensure that your PC’s POS system can connect to the terminal, and get status, do logons,
Please also ensure WIFI is on and paired with the POS IP Address / WIFI Network.
Terminal will log on via Linkly client.
Push Test transaction.
Notes:
When/IF Ethernet or USB Dongle disconnects/unplugs - the terminals WIFI Will turn on , after 10-20 seconds the terminal will reintegrate with the POS if the WIFI is on the same network as the POS.
You may have to restart “Linkly Client” under “SERVICES” for changes to take place
You may also need to create a RULE under the advanced firewall settings which can be done following the below steps
Then hit Next and “Allow the connection” followed by naming it PAX EFT.
