How to change the baud rate on an Integrated Ingenico Move5000

The baud rate measures the speed of data transmission over a communication channel. Variations in the baud rate can cause your Ingenico Move5000 PIN pad to go offline. A low baud rate can cause slow data transfer and long wait times, while a high baud rate can cause errors and data corruption. It's vital to set the baud rate correctly to ensure optimal performance.

To change the baud rate, follow the steps below.

Press the FUNC key and insert the number 11112227.
Then press ENTER (highlighted below).

When requested to configure terminal comms, press ENTER.

Select SERIAL on the screen.

Select USB SLAVE on the screen.

Select VLI 38400
(115200 should be selected as default) on the screen.
