Processing a purchase
- On the keypad, enter the transaction amount and tap ‘Purchase’.
- The terminal will prompt the customer to insert, swipe or tap card.
- The account payment screen will be presented and the customer will be prompted to select their account; Cheque, Savings or Credit.
- Once the payment is successful, a message will appear and the terminal will prompt to print receipt for the merchant or print/email the receipt to customer.
- Alternatively, for Insert or Swipe card processing, select the account type on the terminal.
- The terminal will prompt the customer to enter their PIN (if required) and then tap the enter button.
- The terminal will advise if the transactions has been approved or declined.
Processing a refund
- On the keypad, enter the transaction amount and tap ‘Other’ and then tap ‘Refund’.
- Enter the passcode.
- Enter the refund amount into the keypad and select ‘Next’.
- The terminal will prompt the customer to insert, swipe or tap their card. The terminal will prompt the customer to enter their PIN (if required) and then tap the enter button.
- The terminal will process the refund and then will display Approved or Decline.
- The terminal may also prompt for a signature.
- Once the payment is successful, a message will appear and the terminal will prompt to print receipt for the merchant or print/email the receipt to customer.
